Community Care Program
At Kinfix Appliance Repair, we understand how difficult it can be when an essential home appliance breaks — especially for families with limited income. A refrigerator, stove, washer, or dryer is not a luxury; it is something every household needs.
That’s why we created the Kinfix Community Care Program, a charitable initiative that provides free labor for appliance repairs to qualifying low-income residents of Florida. Our mission is to ensure that every family has access to safe and functioning essential appliances, regardless of their financial situation.
Who Can Apply
The program is designed for low-income households experiencing financial hardship. To qualify, applicants should meet at least one of the following criteria:
Eligibility Criteria (any one of the following):
Currently receiving government assistance such as: SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, TANF, HUD/Section 8
Household income is approximately below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level
Senior citizen with limited income
Individual with a disability
Single parent facing financial hardship
Veteran experiencing financial difficulty
Another difficult life situation that significantly affects the ability to pay for repairs
Note: We do not request sensitive documents through the website. Simple verbal confirmation or basic proof may be requested during scheduling.
What the Program Covers
For approved applications, Kinfix provides:
Free diagnosis
Free technician visit (within service area)
Free labor for the repair
Basic recommendations for appliance care
Clients only pay for parts, if any parts are required. We always help find the most affordable options.
How the Program Works
The customer submits an application form.
We review the information and contact the applicant if clarification is needed.
If approved and if program slots are available, we schedule a repair visit.
During the visit, the technician performs a free diagnosis and completes the repair. (Parts, if needed, are paid by the customer.)
Program availability depends on technician schedules and available donated resources. We do our best to assist as many families as possible.

We contact each applicant individually after reviewing the request.
